The Ocean Lodge / Come Along for __

Relocated to Portugal. Lived the brand. Built it from the inside out.

  • The Lodge had no coherent identity. Generic visuals, inconsistent branding, content that showed activities but didn't build a world. Nothing that made you feel the place. Nothing that made you want to come.

  • First, a brand platform: Ocean-born. Adventure-built. Community-fueled. A destination for new-wave adventure seekers on Portugal's wild coast — not a kitesurfing school, a lifestyle lodge.

    Then everything that makes a brand real. A logo with a ghost mascot — the little spirit that lives in the logo, brought to life in a white sheet, bucket hat and sunglasses, doing a shaka. A colour system pulled from the landscape. An art direction rule: real people, in action, never looking at the camera, a bit of grain, warm not sharp. Nothing that looks like stock.

    The campaign platform became Come Along For ___ — an open invitation, the blank filled by whatever people actually find there. Kitesurf lesson. SUP tour. Yoga at sunrise. A specific kind of nothing.

    From that: a 60-second brand film, a series of activity reels, a TikTok launch built around the mascot's first day in Burgau, and Radio Gust — a Q&A content series introducing the lodge's community of instructors, guests and locals.

  • +66K views. +200% accounts reached. +35.6% profile visits. +336 interactions +28.4% link taps +5.7% new followers.

COME ALONG FOR ___

Come Along content series included all main activities such as Kitesurfing, SUP and surfing; as well as other random stuff as they happened, capturing raw and authentic moments.

A new section on their instagram channel. A Q&A created to introduce interesting guest, artist, musicians, instructors and more.

TikTok Launch.
This platform needed something special to kick off. The little ‘spirit’ aka ghost that lives in their logo comes to life, showing a ‘day in the life of’. Touching the brand tone while showing around the place, Burgau and the vibesss.
